The student whose essay is chosen as the winner will receive a one-time $500 scholarship courtesy of Marshall Services.
In today’s workforce, a post-secondary education is crucial. From learning a trade to developing strong leadership skills, college prepares students for the future. At Marshall Service, we want to help make it possible for students to achieve their dreams.
We realize that all fields of study are valuable and produce students who are prepared to contribute to society in countless ways, so we’ve decided to make this opportunity available to students who are actively working toward a degree in any field. This scholarship will be offered on a yearly basis, and we hope that we are able to alleviate some of the financial burden experienced by many students.
Marshall Service is a family-owned home service company located in Skippack, Pennsylvania. We have been providing the area with high quality plumbing, heating, cooling and electrical services since 1945, and we are proud to be active members of the community. We strive to provide our customers with honest, dependable service at a reasonable price.
To enter Marshall Services’ scholarship contest, you must write a 400-600 word essay on how you will use your degree for the betterment of society. You essay and accompanying submission information, which is listed below, must be sent to using the form at the bottom of this page. Submissions must be received by 12:00 midnight Eastern Standard Time (EST) on May 31, 2017.

Essays and other information must be submitted via email by 5/31/17. All submissions from qualified entrants will be reviewed, and we will select a winner by 6/30/17 as long as we receive a minimum of three qualified submissions. The winner will be notified by phone and email.
These funds may only be applied to the cost of tuition or books. The final check will be made out to the college or university in which the winner is currently enrolled and will be applied to academic expenses. Uncashed checks will not be reissued, and any unused money will be returned to our scholarship fund.
